Current Release
The ModelBus Release Candidate for Version 1.9.7 is now available for download.
This version works with Eclipse Galileo, Helios, and Indigo modelling distribution.The software should run on Windows and Linux systems and as well on Mac.
ModelBus Software consist of the following parts:
Eclipse TeamProvider
ModelBus Server containing the Model Repository
The ModelBus Server contains a Model Repository and it can host other services. A pre-bundled version of this server is provided for several operating systems and variants. Furthermore, this server is available on different Eclipse Version in order to allow the usage of galileo based plugins in the server.
- Galileo Version: Win32 / Linux32 / Linux64 / Mac32 / Mac64
- Indigo Version: Win32 / Win64 / Linux32 / Linux64 / Mac32 / Mac64
SVNKit. Current release of ModelBus is working with version 1.3.4 only. Java version 6 is required.
ModelBus Core Lib for .Net
The Core Lib, which provides functionality in order to plug a .Net based tool to ModelBus is also available for download.
Installation Instructions
A complete installation instructions is contained in the ModelBus Users Guide (an updated version will be provided soon with the final release). For short installation instructions follow the steps listed below.
!!! On server side (and partially for the https configuration of the Team Provider) this version offers a new configuration mechanism. It is done via a configuration model. The old way of configuration with the listed environment variables is still valid. Please refer to the ModelBus User Guide for detailed description.
- Installation of TeamProvider is done via the Eclipse Update Site. Before using the TeamProvider you need to be sure that the ModelBus dosgi plugin (org.modelbus.cxf.dosgi) is active. This is done via the advanced options in the context menu in the Eclipse Plugin Registry View.The plugin shall be activated by default.
- Please visit the ModelBus Preference in order to set the user credentials as appropriate.
- The ModelBus server needs a system environment variable pointing to a writable directory in filesystem.
- MODELBUS_SVN_REPOSITORY_LOCATION
- ModelBus needs to know the location of the ModelBus Repository. This is defined by using another environment variable.
- MODELBUS_REPOSITORY_LOCATION
- For making use of Notification (e.g. mandatory for using ModelBus Orchstrations) ModelBus needs to now where to run the ModelBus Notification Service. This is defined by using the following environment variable.
- MODELBUS_NOTIFICATION_LOCATION
- For installation of SVNKit the following jar files need to be copied to the /lib directory of the pre-bundled ModelBus server.
